Description:

The BBA presents live webinars and virtual events via Zoom. Please register for this program through your BBA account at least two hours before the start time of the program to receive the Zoom webinar link.

Are you a consumer attorney interested in learning the advantages Subchapter V affords your clients? The BBA’s Bankruptcy Law Section will host a webinar with Subchapter V Trustee, Steven Weiss and Attorneys Steffani Pelton and John Sommerstein.

The panel will discuss how self-employed business owners may qualify for and might be better served in Subchapter V instead of Chapter 13 or standard Chapter 11. Additionally, the panel will touch on other Subchapter V issues regarding projected income, the § 1111(b) election, the statutory role of a Subchapter V Trustee, and the lack of need to file a disclosure statement.

Join us to learn how you can leverage Subchapter V for your clients!
